What We Do
GBAM (Greater Bay Area Ministerium) is a non-profit ecumenical group of persons, representing a wide range of faith communities, working together to improve the lives of community members.
We partner with Good Shepherd Food Bank, the US Department of Agriculture, Waldo County Bounty, the Community Garden in Belfast as well as local farmers to supply nutritious food to our customers.
The mission of the GBAM Food Cupboard is to collect, store and distribute food and promote nutrition for those in need, in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.
The vision of the GBAM FC is a community in which everyone has access to sufficient and nutritious food.
Where We Are
We operate out of a space generously shared with us by the Belfast United Methodist Church, at 23 Mill Lane, Belfast. (Mill Lane turns off of Rt. 1 across from Perry's Nut House.) Our door is next to the loading dock, in the lower parking area, down behind the church.
