GBAM (Greater Bay Area Ministerium) is a non-profit ecumenical group of persons representing a wide range of faith communities working together to improve the lives of community members.
We partner with Good Shepherd Food Bank, the US Department of Agriculture, Waldo County Bounty, the Community Garden in Belfast as well as local farmers to supply nutritious food to our customers.
The vision of the GBAM FC is a community in which everyone has access to sufficient and nutritious food.
Anyone in need of food may come to our distributions on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month from 9:00am to 11:00am.
We ask persons seeking food to provide their name, household location and size. We are able to provide food to persons in emergency situations, regardless of income.
Donations
We’ve been serving the communities of Waldo County since 1996 with nutrition support.
The mission of the Greater Bay Area Ministerium Food Cupboard is to collect, store and distribute food and promote nutrition for those in need, in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.
Donations support the continued success of our mission: providing nutritious food security in Waldo County.
We are a 501(c)(3) and, as such, your donations are tax deductable.
